I've read this report before and agreed with its conclusions, but its talking points are more relevant now than ever before. Changes in leadership stand out, especially, for me at this time. The same rhetoric keeps coming out of Lansing about taxes or not taxes; we need to shift the debate to defining Michigan's growth plan and whether or not we are making progress in achieving the outcomes we desire for our state and its regions. Most organization's don't care what their costs are, if their ability to generate and sustain revenue far exceeds them.
